"Yes,
I am coming quickly. Amen.”
said Jesus.
Christ is
coming to take His church out of this
world.
Dear believer or dear unbeliever.... What if it were today?
?
You live in uncertain
times- you do not know what a day may bring forth.
Death is
certain to happen in a ‘moment’. In a
‘twinkling of an eye’ your life can change.
Statistics
are that 1 person dies every 11 seconds.
Determine
where you are now with Christ.
JESUS SAVES
Jesus said,
“today is the day and now is the time for you to be saved”.
Welcome

Church
is the Place: Where God Meets with His family, Where we worship and praise God,
Where the way of salvation is taught, Where we find comfort and strength in
time of need, Where we learn how to live, Where God’s word is opened, Where we
get help in guiding our children, Where we can give for the support of God’s
work throughout the world, Where we support the pastor and church leaders,
Where there is time for meditation and prayer and song, Where God gives His
blessing.

Where In The Word? Each month here, I
will present details about a person or event in the Bible (and give last
month’s answer). The challenge is to
find out where in the Bible you will find the whole story. Last months answer: she was Hanna and
her story is found in 1 Samuel chapter 1 and 2. Where in the Word is . . . . There was no question about his love,
respect, dedication or worship of God.
In fact, on one occasion he went to the most sacred or the most
important “high places”, to offer a thousand burnt offerings on that
particular altar. That night, while
he was asleep, God appeared to him in a dream and asked, “Whatever you want
me to give you, I will. There will
be no limits placed on my granting your request. Simply ask for what you want and you
shall have it.” Imagine- the Creator asking a creature to make his request
known with no limitations, no preconditions, no constraints, no demands. “What
you want is what you will get, “said God.
To make matters more intriguing, more dramatic, the first statement
this one made to God was “I am a little chilled and I do not know
everything that I am supposed to do.
So, God, help me. Give me a
discerning heart and the ability to distinguish right from wrong. “ God must have been impressed because he
answered and said, “ Surely you asked for help to be an effective leader,
and I will certainly give you that – PLUS – I will give you riches and
honor and power and a long life. “
Unfortunately, however, he decided that he could expand he kingdom,
influence and power on his own, by forming alliances with other countries
and by marrying women who worshipped false gods. In so doing, he compromised his
relationship with the Lord. Who was
he? Where
in the Word can you find the rest of his story?
You
will be loved and encouraged. You will
hear God’s Word and be challenged by
God’s Word for a positive change to Christ-likeness.

"All heaven is interested in the
cross of Christ, all hell is terribly
afraid of it, while men are the only
beings who more or less
ignore its meaning. - Oswald Chambers"
How.To. Kill. A. Church.Without. Really. Trying. Part 1 Revelation 3:1 and
Ephesians 3:21 God has an ideal, want,
and expectation that the Church bring glory to Jesus Christ. But, I want to share
three points how the Church is killed by Christians. 1. By Being Irregular or
Delinquent in Attending Its Meetings. a. The Bible teaches that God’s people are to be
faithful to the house of the Lord. b. People do not love their church like they
should. It’s another thing taken for
granted. c. “unto Him be glory in the church” is what God
wants. Do you get it? 2. By Being Indifferent
to Its Programs. Some of them are
prayer, witnessing, and Sunday Schools a. If the average employee was as indifferent to
his/her job as Christians are to the programs of God, he would have miserably failed long
ago. b. When you put His work first, then everything else
falls into its proper place. 3. By Being Insensitive
to Its Needs a. What kind of a church would my church be if all of
its members were just like me? b. Some people go around with a ‘funnel’ and have the
little end turned up toward God, and God can’t get anything into it. God has blessed you in
many, many ways. Thank God. But many are robbing God. Many of you tip God. You’ll tip waiters
their due, but you don’t give God that much when you come to God’s
house. A lot of you are tipsters but
not tithers. . Part 2 . This generation of
preachers is responsible for this generation of people. There is to be a special
judgment for preachers; preachers shall receive the greater condemnation. We have a cold church
in a cold world because the preachers are cold. Most preachers are only
echoes, for if you listen hard, you will be able to tell what latest book
they have read and how little of the Book they quote. Preacher, in light of
the judgment seat of Christ, you better live six months with a volcanic
heart, denounce sin, and turn church from the power of Satan rather than
die loaded with ecclesiastical honors and theological degrees. The B’s of the
preacher: Are you burdened, bent,
bowed, and broken in sight of impending judgment and doom of unending hell?
D Lines Pray
for your President as a good Christian is commanded to do. B.C.E.
for Before Common Era, has come into use in recent
years to replace B.C. (Before Christ).
Similarly, C.E. (Common Era) is replacing the old A.D. (Anno Domini), or Year of Our Lord). A
streak has been broken- For 58 years every president has ‘recognized and
hosted a ceremony event at the White House’ to observe National Day of
Prayer, until now. However, our president
chose to ‘recognized and host a ceremony event at the White House’ to
commemorate gay pride on Monday, June 29. This
is an abomination to the Lord! Our
nation will remain broken- until. . . Psalm
33:22 says ”we put our hope in you” -Lets
keep with the old paths-
