Computers In The Classroom -- This program  is a partnership between the SC Budget and Control Board, and SC Department of Education.  It aims to train teachers to use  computers that remain in their classrooms. The project targets schools in greatest need of technology in the classroom. The program attempts to both help districts aquire technology and encourage teachers to learn to use the technology with students.  Teachers gain confidence in using the computer and understanding how it works. A network card is installed in each machine enabling Internet connectivity via the school's network. Contact Dr. Dave Altus for the status of your school to qualify to participate in this project.
